Vision

  • Develop a highly specialized and multi-faceted bird of prey centre – entirely unlike any zoo or bird park – equipped to deal with rehabilitation; education; conservation and eco-tourism.

  • Operate not entirely independently, but in affiliation with other reputable wildlife organizations, for the benefit of raptors throughout South Africa.

  • Release only prime rehabilitated candidates into the wild population, meaning that they should be healthy, fit, able-breeding, proven to be hunting successfully and therefore self-sustainable.

  • Preserve South Africa’s wild raptors, and their natural environment, through community awareness programs and the promotion of organic farming methods.

  • Use eco-tourism, private conference / function demonstrations, falconry hunting expeditions and film & photographic shoots to help self-fund the core programs.

  • Assist local entrepreneurs in becoming self-sustainable by providing indirect employment through retailing locally manufactured crafts and products to local and international markets in our curio shop.
